Advance IOPA-3P32-LW-N Electronic Ballast
The Philips Advance IOPA-3P32-LW-N is an electronic fluorescent ballast designed for commercial and institutional lighting systems. It operates two or three T8 lamps with a combined input range of 71 to 73 watts across 120 to 277 volts AC. The unit weighs 0.88 pounds and carries the Optanium branding.
Wiring and mounting requirements
The ballast uses an instant start method and supports lamp wattages of 17, 25, 28, 32 and 40 watts per bulb. It requires no dimming control wiring and has a minimum starting temperature of -20 degrees Fahrenheit. Installation fits standard fluorescent fixture enclosures with appropriate line-voltage connections.
Replaces magnetic or failed electronic ballasts
This model upgrades older magnetic T8 ballasts or replaces failed electronic units in existing fixtures. The jump is worth it when the current ballast hums, flickers or cannot start lamps reliably in cold conditions. It is not for LED retrofit tubes, dimming applications or single-lamp fixtures.
