Clamp-mounted LED desk lamp

The Phimuezl 800-900 is a 12 W LED desk lamp that attaches with a sturdy clamp to surfaces up to 2.6 in thick. A 60 cm flexible silicone gooseneck allows 360° positioning of the light head. Sixty-four SMD2835 beads deliver flicker-free output across three colour temperatures.

Adjustable colour and brightness for focused tasks

Three colour modes at 2700 K, 4500 K and 6500 K each offer ten dimming levels, suiting reading, study, craft work or general office use. The clamp base frees desk space, making it practical for home offices, dormitories or workshops. Buyers needing a freestanding base or a wider clamp opening should consider other designs.

5 V USB power input

The lamp draws 12 W from a DC 5 V / 3 A supply via a 1.5 m USB cable, so a compatible USB port or adapter is required. No internal battery is fitted, meaning the light operates only while connected to power.

Questions about this item

How do I install the clamp on a desk up to 2.6 inches thick and which step is often missed?

Open the clamp jaws wide enough, slide them over the tabletop edge up to 2.6 inches, then tighten the screw firmly; the step often missed is fully tightening the screw so the lamp does not wobble when the gooseneck is repositioned.

What maintenance or replacement will the lamp need later?

The 64 SMD2835 LED beads are not user-replaceable; maintenance is limited to wiping the aluminium cap and silicone gooseneck with a dry cloth and checking the USB cable for wear.

What limit appears first during sustained use at full 12 W brightness?

The aluminium lamp cap dissipates heat, but at the highest 6500 K setting the cap becomes warm to the touch first, signalling the thermal limit before any brightness drop occurs.
