Cold-press watercolor pad

This 5.5 by 8.5 inch sketchbook contains 30 sheets of 140 lb cold-press paper. The spiral binding opens flat so both pages can be used as a single spread. Micro-perforation lets each sheet tear away cleanly. The heavyweight surface resists warping under heavy washes.

Suitable media and users

Works with watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel and dry drawing media. The texture handles repeated erasing and scraping without pilling. Beginners and professionals can both use it for studio or field work. Artists who need hot-press smoothness or a larger format should look elsewhere.

Paper weight and texture

The 300 gsm cold-press stock is the specification that determines suitability. It supports multiple transparent layers and heavy saturation without buckling. Buyers who require a lighter sketching weight or a smoother surface for fine line work will not be served by this pad.
