Raspberry Pi 4 case with transparent layers

The Pimoroni Pibow Coupé 4 Ninja is a five-layer cast acrylic enclosure built exclusively for the Raspberry Pi 4. Transparent top and base panels keep the board visible while protecting it during hacking and tinkering sessions.

GPIO and port access with heatsink clearance

A laser-etched GPIO cut-out and labelled port openings leave every primary connection accessible, including the camera and display ports. The lid includes a cutout sized 40 by 30 millimetres for a heatsink or Fan SHIM.

Fully HAT-compatible slim profile

The super-slimline stack adds minimal bulk and works with standard standoffs, so any HAT can be mounted without interference. Part number 463 identifies this Ninja colour variant for the Raspberry Pi 4 only.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the Ninja version or the Red version?

Both share the same five-layer acrylic build and clear top and base; the difference is the colour of the middle layers, so choose the shade you prefer for your Pi 4.

Does the 40 × 30 mm heatsink cut-out leave enough room for a Fan SHIM?

The lid cut-out is sized for a 40 by 30 mm heatsink or a Fan SHIM, so either cooling option fits without modification.

Will the GPIO cut-out and port labels still work when a HAT is stacked on top?

The case is fully HAT-compatible; the GPIO cut-out and laser-etched labels remain accessible with a HAT fitted.
