High-Voltage Differential Probe 7000 V

The Pintech DP-50 is a differential active probe built for engineers and technicians who must measure signals up to 7000 V on oscilloscopes with standard BNC inputs. Its 50 MHz bandwidth and selectable attenuation ratios of 100X, 200X, 500X and 1000X cover a wide range of high-voltage debugging tasks. The probe ships with adapters, alligator clips, hook tips and a BNC cable for immediate use.

Replaces Lower-Voltage Single-Ended Probes

Standard passive probes cannot safely float at high common-mode voltages and lack the differential input needed for noisy power-electronics work. The DP-50 adds galvanic isolation between measurement points and the scope ground, so the upgrade is justified whenever the circuit under test exceeds the voltage or common-mode limits of existing probes. It is not for users who only measure low-level logic or audio signals.

Sustained High-Voltage Operation

During continuous measurement the probe maintains its typical ±2 % accuracy thanks to a stable 16 MΩ // 1.2 pF differential input impedance and 8 MΩ // 2.4 pF single-ended impedance. The 50 MHz bandwidth remains flat without thermal drift that can narrow the passband on lesser probes after minutes of use. This stability lets you capture repetitive switching waveforms over long test sessions without recalibration.
