HDMI interface cable kit for iPhone 5

The Pioneer CD-IH202 connects an iPhone 5 to a compatible AppRadio receiver using HDMI. It enables AppRadio Mode along with music and video playback on the car stereo display. The kit is designed specifically for iPhone 5 models and requires separate Apple adapters to function.

iPhone 5 owners with compatible Pioneer receivers

This kit suits drivers who want to mirror their iPhone 5 screen and audio through a Pioneer AppRadio head unit. It will not work with Android phones, later iPhone models or receivers that lack AppRadio Mode support. Buyers without a Lightning Digital AV Adapter and Lightning to USB cable must obtain them separately.

Requires Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter

The cable kit alone cannot transmit video or data without these two Apple accessories. Both must be connected between the iPhone 5 and the CD-IH202 for AppRadio Mode to activate. Without them the installation will not deliver the intended audio and video features.
