Questions about this item

Should I pick the single mini-HDMI 1.4 port or one of the two USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 ports for my setup?

Use a USB-C port when you want one cable to carry both 1080p 60 Hz video and power from a laptop or phone; use the mini-HDMI 1.4 port for consoles or older laptops that only output HDMI.

What does the 60 Hz refresh rate actually deliver in everyday use?

The panel redraws the 1920 x 1080 image 60 times per second, so motion in office apps, video playback and casual gaming stays smooth without tearing at this frame rate.

How does the USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C interface limit what I can connect?

Each Type-C port supplies both DisplayPort Alt Mode video and up to 5 V power at 60 Hz, so the monitor draws its power and signal from the same cable without a separate adapter.
