Pixio PX248 Wave Purple 23.8" Gaming Monitor

The Pixio PX248 Wave Purple is a 23.8 inch Fast IPS gaming monitor built for high refresh competitive play. It delivers a 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution at a 200Hz refresh rate with a 1ms GTG response time. The panel covers 112.44% sRGB colour gamut and offers 178 degree viewing angles.

Competitive gamers wanting high frame rates

This monitor suits players who value motion clarity and speed in fast-paced titles. The 200Hz refresh rate and Adaptive Sync support reduce tearing for smoother gameplay. Buyers who need higher pixel density for detailed creative work or prefer deeper contrast ratios for dark scenes should look at alternative panels.

200Hz refresh rate over DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0

The headline specification is the 200Hz maximum refresh rate available on both DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 inputs. This ensures high frame rate performance is accessible from modern graphics cards and consoles alike. If your system cannot consistently push frame rates near this ceiling, the benefit diminishes.

Questions about this item

Will my graphics card need DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.0 to reach the 200Hz refresh rate at 1080p?

The monitor delivers 200Hz over both DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0, so either connection will work provided your GPU has a matching port.

Does the 112.44% sRGB coverage mean colours look oversaturated in standard desktop use?

The wide gamut extends beyond sRGB, which can make some content appear more vivid; most operating systems let you clamp output to sRGB if you prefer accurate tones.

Is the stand height-adjustable or will I need a separate monitor arm for ergonomic positioning?

The supplied stand offers tilt adjustment only; for height, swivel or pivot you would need a VESA-compatible arm or mount.
