2X-Large Desk Mat

The Pixio PXMPWMTXXL is a 2X-large desk mat measuring 35.4 by 15.7 inches with a mint green finish. It provides a continuous surface for both keyboard and mouse, suited to gaming setups or office workstations. The three-millimetre thickness adds a slim layer of cushioning without raising the typing height significantly. Its polyester top and rubber base are built for daily use across different environments.

Polyester Surface Limits

The finely textured polyester surface is optimised for speed and control with all mouse types. It offers consistent tracking for optical and laser sensors but does not feature a specialised coating for extreme humidity or abrasive conditions. The water-resistant coating repels accidental spills, yet prolonged liquid exposure or submersion is not supported. Stitched edges resist fraying under normal movement, though sharp objects can still damage the fabric.

Coverage and Headroom

The 2X-large dimensions cover a broad desktop area, accommodating full-size keyboards with room for wide mouse sweeps. It handles low-sensitivity gaming and multi-monitor workflows without the mouse leaving the pad. The three-millimetre profile keeps the surface flat on even desks, but it will not compensate for warped or deeply textured tables. The rubber base grips firmly on clean, smooth surfaces; dust or oil reduces adhesion.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2X-Large size or a smaller version?

The pad measures 35.4 by 15.7 inches and is 3mm thick, covering a wide desk area for keyboard and mouse together.

How does the 3mm thickness feel during gaming or typing?

At 3mm it sits low on the desk, giving a firm surface that still cushions the wrist without raising the mouse sensor too high.

Does the rubber base keep the mat from sliding on a polished desk?

The high-grip rubber underside anchors the pad firmly, so it stays put even during fast, sweeping mouse movements.
