Eight rectangular 9 V zinc carbon batteries in a row

Pkcell

Pkcell 9V 6F22 Zinc Carbon Battery 8 Pack

SKU CH-Z867-PZFSY

Eight 9 V zinc-carbon cells power smoke detectors, multimeters and other low-drain devices for up to three years in storage

  • Ultra long-lasting power reduces replacement frequency
  • Mercury, lead and chromium free with double-sealed safety
  • Holds charge for up to three years in storage
  • Fits smoke detectors, multimeters, toys and more
  • 9 V zinc chloride chemistry delivers steady low-drain energy

Ideal for low-drain devices

These 9 V zinc-carbon cells suit smoke detectors, multimeters, remote controls and similar low-power electronics. The 8-pack supplies a convenient quantity for households or small businesses that maintain several battery-operated units. Each cell delivers 9 volts through a standard 6F22 form factor.

Leak-resistant construction

Advanced double sealing and the absence of chromium, lead and mercury reduce the risk of leakage during storage or over-discharge. The chemistry holds usable charge for up to 3 years when kept in proper conditions, so spares remain ready when needed.

Direct drop-in for 6F22 compartments

Measuring 17.5 mm by 48.5 mm, the batteries fit existing 9 V slots without adapters. Their 3.9 ohm, 24-hour, 240-minute rated capacity supports extended runs in compatible gear, while the primary-cell design means no charging equipment is required.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 17.5 mm by 48.5 mm 9V battery in my smoke detector, and what step is often missed?

Align the snap terminals with the device contacts, press firmly until the connector clicks, then test the alarm — skipping the test is the step most often missed.

When will the 8-pack of zinc carbon cells need replacement in a typical smoke detector?

Expect up to 3 years shelf life; in a low-drain detector the installed battery usually lasts 1 to 2 years before voltage drops below reliable operation.

What limit appears first during continuous use of the 3.9 ohm rated 9V cell?

The 240-minute capacity at 24-hour discharge shows the runtime limit before voltage falls off under sustained load.
