Five-port unmanaged Gigabit switch with redundant 12-48V DC power and -40 to 75 °C operating range
The PLANET IGS-501T is an unmanaged 5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch built for harsh environments. It operates reliably from -40 to 75 degrees Celsius inside an IP30-rated metal enclosure. Five RJ45 ports support 10/100/1000Mbps speeds with auto MDI/MDI-X detection. The unit is designed for DIN rail or wall mounting in industrial cabinets.
Dual 12 to 48V DC inputs provide redundant supply with polarity reverse protection. The removable terminal block accepts master and slave feeds, while 24V AC is also supported. Power LEDs show status for each input and a fault indicator. Maximum draw is 8.3 watts at 24V DC and 4.8 watts at 48V DC. No external power adapter is included.
This switch suits factory automation, outdoor surveillance and transportation systems that need fanless, wide-temperature operation. It stores up to 2K MAC addresses and forwards 9KB jumbo frames. Buyers needing managed features such as VLANs, QoS or SNMP monitoring should look elsewhere. PoE-powered devices require a separate injector or PoE switch.

The switch holds a 2K MAC address table, which is the practical limit for address learning during continuous operation.
At 48 V DC the unit draws 4.8 watts and dissipates 16 BTU per hour, with no fan so acoustic noise is effectively zero.
You need a 12–48 V DC source (or 24 V AC) wired to the removable terminal block, plus standard Cat5e or better RJ45 patch cables for the five copper ports.
