The unit fits a standard 19-inch rack and includes two built-in thermal fans for cooling across the wide temperature range. Power can be supplied via AC 100-240V or -36V to -60V DC with polarity-reverse protection, and a fault-relay alarm signals port or power failures. Initial configuration uses the RS-232 RJ45 console port; fibre transceivers must be sourced separately to match link distances.
