  • Cam-action latch secures contents
  • Clear polycarbonate shows contents instantly
  • Single compartment keeps items organised
  • Durable plastic construction withstands daily use

Compact storage box

The Plano Molding 144900 is a small plastic box with a cam-action latch. It suits anyone organising tiny components such as screws, terminals or electronic modules. The single fixed compartment keeps contents from mixing. The clear polycarbonate lets you identify items without opening the lid.

Limits of the single-compartment design

The cam latch secures the lid but offers no seal against moisture or dust. One fixed cavity means you cannot subdivide the space for different part sizes. Inside dimensions of 6-1/2" by 4-11/16" by 2-1/8" restrict the box to very small objects. No stacking features are described.

Polycarbonate shell and daily use

The red and clear polycarbonate body resists impact better than basic polystyrene. A cam-action closure opens quickly with one hand and stays shut under vibration. The smooth interior walls prevent small parts from snagging. No mounting holes or hanging points are provided.
