Voyager PRO UC B230 headset

The Plantronics Voyager PRO UC B230 is a mono earset designed for professionals who handle calls on both a PC and a mobile phone. Wideband audio and a dual-microphone Audio IQ DSP deliver clear voice transmission while suppressing background noise. A smart sensor detects when the headset is worn to answer or route calls automatically. Three layers of wind protection keep outdoor conversations intelligible.

Sustained call comfort and clarity

During long conference sessions the wideband codec maintains consistent vocal fidelity without the compression artefacts that appear in narrowband links. The DSP continuously filters steady-state noise such as air-conditioning hum while the wind-noise layers reject gusts that would otherwise overwhelm the microphone. Smart Sensor automation reduces manual handling so the headset stays in place and the audio path remains stable for hours.

Compatibility checks before purchase

Verify that your computer supports a wideband audio profile over its USB or Bluetooth audio stack so the headset can negotiate the higher-quality codec. Confirm your mobile handset pairs with a mono headset for both call audio and voice-command features. Ensure the intended softphone or UC platform recognises the device for call-control functions such as answer, mute and volume.
