Halogen Bulb with GY6.35 Base

This Platinum halogen bulb delivers 1900 lumens from 100 watts at 120 volts. It fits fixtures that accept a GY6.35 bi-pin base and has a clear finish. The rated lifetime is 2000 hours, which corresponds to about 1.8 years at three hours of daily use. It is suited for task or accent lighting where a compact halogen source is required.

Sustained Output and Heat

Under continuous operation the filament maintains its rated output for the stated 2000-hour life before failure. Surface temperature rises quickly and remains high, so the lamp must be used in ventilated fixtures rated for 100-watt halogen loads. It is not intended for enclosed recessed cans without adequate airflow or for dimming circuits that are not halogen-compatible. Buyers needing longer service intervals or lower heat should consider alternative lamp types.
