Platinum Tools ezEX44 10G RJ45 Shielded Connectors

This 25-pack of shielded RJ45 connectors is built for installers terminating larger-diameter Category 6 and 6A cables. The pass-through design lets conductors exit the front so the wiring sequence can be verified before crimping. They are intended for professional network infrastructure work using the EXO Crimp Frame and EXO-EX Die.

Conductor Capacity and Cable Fit

Accepts solid or stranded conductors from 24 to 22 AWG with insulation diameters between .039 and .044 inches (1.0 to 1.12 mm). Maximum cable outer diameter is .280 inches (7.1 mm). Cables with thicker jackets or insulation outside this range will not seat properly in the connector body.

Termination Tool Requirement

These connectors must be terminated with the EXO Crimp Frame and EXO-EX Die (part 100061C). Standard RJ45 crimp tools cannot accommodate the pass-through geometry and will not produce a reliable connection.
