PC debut for Ratchet & Clank

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart arrives on PC for the first time, published by PlayStation PC LLC and developed by Insomniac Games with Nixxes Software. The action-adventure shooter releases on 25 July 2023 as a digital download requiring a Steam account for activation. US region activation is mandatory and the code is not eligible for Puerto Rico.

Steam account and US region lock

Activation depends entirely on a third-party Steam account and the supplied code works only for United States activation, excluding Puerto Rico. No physical media is included; the licence is delivered as a downloadable game key. Buyers without a Steam account or who reside outside the supported region cannot use this product.

Ultra-wide support and upscaling options

The PC version supports 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 resolutions for ultra-wide and triple-monitor setups. Unlocked frame rates are available alongside ray-traced reflections and shadows. Upscaling technologies include DLSS, FSR and XeSS, with additional support for NVIDIA Reflex and DLAA. Buyers seeking fixed console frame pacing or lacking compatible upscaling hardware will not benefit from these enhancements.

Questions about this item

What does the 21:9 ultra-wide support mean when I am playing?

The game renders natively at 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 resolutions, so the image fills ultra-wide and triple-monitor setups without black bars or stretching.

Which upscaling technologies does the Steam version support?

The PC release includes NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS and Insomniac Games' Temporal Injection, plus NVIDIA Reflex and DLAA for latency and image quality.

What do I need to activate the code on my PC?

A Steam account registered in the United States is required; the key is region-locked to the US and cannot be activated in Puerto Rico.
