140W GaN USB-C charger
The Plugable PS-EPR-140C1 delivers up to 140W of Power Delivery 3.1 output through a single USB-C port. It uses GaN technology to stay 14% smaller than the Apple equivalent while maintaining identical power specifications. Intelligent negotiation supplies the optimal level for each connected device, from 15W for a phone up to the full 140W for a 16-inch MacBook Pro.
Runs cooler than silicon equivalents
GaN construction improves efficiency so the charger stays cooler to the touch during high-load charging sessions. The flip-out plug design keeps the unit compact for travel or desktop use. Over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protections operate automatically to guard both the charger and the attached device.
Requires EPR cable for top speed
Maximum 140W output is only available when paired with a USB-C cable rated for Extended Power Range; standard cables will negotiate a lower rate. The adapter works with MagSafe chargers and any USB-C device, automatically scaling down to 65W or less when the host does not support higher voltages. No software or drivers are needed for operation.

Questions about this item
How do I connect the PS-EPR-140C1 to a 16-inch MacBook Pro for 140W charging?
Use a USB-C cable rated for PD 3.1 EPR or Apple's MagSafe cable; the charger negotiates 140W automatically when the host requests it.
Will the GaN charger need any cleaning or part replacement over time?
No user-serviceable parts exist; keep the flip-out plug and USB-C port free of dust for reliable contact.
What power level does the adapter settle at during a long 140W session?
It sustains 140W as long as the device requests it; output drops only when the host reduces its draw.
