Kids Digital LCD Alarm Clock

The Plumeet em-002-bp is a compact LCD alarm clock in Baby Pink designed for children and travellers. Its large jumbo digits make the time easy to read at a glance. A soft backlight activates for only six seconds when the snooze-light button is pressed. The lightweight silicone cover adds shock protection for daily handling.

Battery Power and Fixed Backlight Duration

The clock runs on three AAA 1.5 V batteries which are not supplied with the unit. The backlight cannot stay on continuously and offers no brightness adjustment. An ascending beep alarm speeds up every few seconds until silenced, and the snooze function provides an eight minute delay. No mains adapter or USB power option is included.

Silicone Case and Handheld Size

A protective silicone sleeve wraps the plastic body to guard against minor drops. The unit measures 5.5 in x 3.81 in x 2.7 in, making it small enough to carry in a bag or place on a bedside table. Simple controls include dedicated buttons for time, alarm, snooze and backlight. The clock suits bedrooms, desks, kitchens and travel use.

Questions about this item

Which version should I pick — the 5.5 in x 3.81 in x 2.7 in LCD model or the 3.1 in x 2.4 in x 3.1 in LCD model?

The 5.5 in x 3.81 in x 2.7 in model uses 3 × AAA batteries and has a silicone-and-plastic case, while the 3.1 in x 2.4 in x 3.1 in model uses 2 × AA batteries and shares the same case material.

What does the 5.5 in width mean once the clock sits on a bedside table?

At 5.5 in wide and 3.81 in deep it occupies roughly the footprint of a paperback book, leaving room for a phone or lamp beside it.

How does the battery-powered LCD interface limit daily use?

The display lights for only 5 seconds when the snooze button is pressed and the dimmer is non-adjustable, so the screen stays dark at night unless you activate the backlight.
