Compact Digital Travel Clock

The Plumeet EM-008-WH is a battery-powered digital alarm clock with a 3.0-inch LCD that shows time, month and date. A protective silicone cover guards against minor drops while travelling. Two AA cells (not included) can run the unit for more than half a year.

Suits Light Travellers and Heavy Sleepers

The ascending beep and a large snooze button that repeats the alarm after five minutes help deep sleepers wake up gradually. Users who want a rechargeable USB device, adjustable backlight brightness, or built-in temperature and humidity readings should choose a different model.

3.0-Inch LCD With Fixed Brightness

The screen lights for only five seconds when activated and cannot be dimmed, so it stays dark through the night. Buyers who need a permanently lit display or variable brightness levels will find this clock unsuitable.

Questions about this item

What batteries must I supply for the EM-008-WH clock?

The clock runs on two AA 1.5 V batteries, which are not included; a fresh set typically lasts more than half a year.

Will the 12/24-hour display on this clock match the 24-hour setting on my older bedside unit?

Yes, the EM-008-WH offers both 12-hour and 24-hour formats so you can keep the same convention as your existing clock.

How can I confirm the ascending alarm is working after I set it?

When the alarm time arrives, the beep starts quietly and gradually increases for 60 seconds; pressing the large snooze button silences it for 5 minutes before it sounds again.
