Plumeet EM-8049-RD 3.7 in Wooden Digital Alarm Clock

Wooden LCD Alarm Clock

The Plumeet EM-8049-RD is a compact wooden alarm clock with an LCD screen that shows time, date and indoor temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. It measures 3.7 inches across and stands 3.81 inches deep, finished in brown wood for a warm bedside look. The clock runs on three AAA batteries, which are not included, and a fresh set can last more than half a year. A top-mounted button lights the orange backlight for five seconds so you can read the display in the dark.

Bedroom users wanting simple battery operation

This clock suits anyone who prefers a cord-free bedside device with a gentle ascending alarm and a five-minute snooze. The non-adjustable backlight only stays on briefly, so it will not help buyers who want a continuous night light or dimmable display. It also lacks USB charging ports, so users who need to charge a phone overnight should look elsewhere. The round wooden case fits small nightstands but offers no wall-mount option.

Three AAA battery power

The only power source is three 1.5 V AAA cells, which are not supplied in the box. There is no AC adapter, USB cable or built-in rechargeable cell, so the clock stops when the batteries run out. A new set typically powers the unit for over six months, but the product includes no low-battery indicator. Buyers must keep spare AAA cells on hand to avoid losing alarms and time settings.
