100 FT Expandable Garden Hose
The Pocket Hose Ballistic expands up to three times its stored length into a full-size 3/4-inch hose when water flows and shrinks back for compact storage. Its lightweight, kink-resistant design suits everyday watering tasks around the home. The UV-resistant coating helps the hose maintain performance and appearance through regular outdoor use. It is built for users who want a space-saving alternative to traditional heavy rubber hoses.
Pocket Pivot Swivel Connector
The 360-degree swivel connector at the spigot reduces twists, snags and kinks while you move around the garden. This helps maintain smoother water flow without the hose binding at the tap. Re-engineered thicker washers and stronger APT connector protectors work with the swivel to resist leaks at the connection points. Solid lead-free connectors infused with copper complete the fitting upgrades.
Liquid Crystal Polymer Reinforcement
An anti-burst sleeve reinforced with a Liquid Crystal Polymer strand provides the core burst resistance for demanding dragging and tugging. The strand is cited as five times stronger than steel by weight for the reinforcement fiber alone, not the entire hose assembly. Three layers of high-strength latex form the inner core beneath this sleeve. This construction targets durability without the bulk of conventional reinforced hoses.

Questions about this item
How often should the 3-layer latex core and washers be checked for leaks?
Inspect the 3-layer latex core and re-engineered thicker washers at the start of each watering season and after any hard freeze to catch wear before it causes leaks.
What limits continuous flow when the hose is fully expanded to 100 ft?
The 0.25-inch inside diameter and 1200-inch length create friction loss that reduces pressure first during sustained use.
How much heat can the UV-resistant coating and Liquid Crystal Polymer sleeve handle in all-day sun?
The UV-resistant coating protects the yellow exterior from sun damage, while the Liquid Crystal Polymer reinforcement strand maintains strength in high temperatures.
