Haunted Manor Diorama Kit

This 1/12 scale model kit by Polar Lights recreates a vintage "Play it Again Tom" haunted manor scene. It contains 62 detailed parts molded in glow-in-the-dark plastic for an eerie display effect. The kit is rated Skill Level 2 and requires glue and paint for assembly, which are not included. It is an officially licensed product aimed at adult hobbyists.

Lever-Activated Piano Action

A lever on the assembled model triggers the Tom figure to strike the piano keys, while a separate button makes a mummy figure pop up. These mechanical features operate through rubber-band power built into the kit. No batteries or electronics are involved in the moving parts. The interaction is entirely manual and repeatable.

9.5-Inch Finished Height

Once built, the diorama stands 9.5 inches tall, making it a substantial shelf piece for collectors of classic monster memorabilia. The glow-in-the-dark plastic provides visibility in low light without paint, though the moulded colour limits realistic finishing options. Builders seeking a larger scale or motorised movement will need a different kit.
