An insulated three-port aluminium connector accepting stranded copper from 12 AWG to 350 kcmil at 600 V
This POLARIS connector joins up to three conductors in a single block. It accepts stranded copper from 12 AWG up to 350 kcmil and also works with aluminium conductors. The rubber-encapsulated body is rated for 600 V and carries UL 94 V-1 flammability approval. It suits panel builders and electricians needing a compact, code-compliant splice.
The connector operates continuously up to 194 degrees Fahrenheit without degradation. Its rubber insulation meets UL 94 V-1, limiting flame spread in fault conditions. The 600 V rating covers standard low-voltage distribution circuits. No forced cooling or derating is required within the stated temperature range.
Each of the three ports uses a 5/16 inch hex set screw for secure termination. The black rubber encapsulation protects live parts and eliminates the need for separate tape or heat-shrink. ANSI C 119.4 compliance confirms suitability for insulated power connectors. RoHS compliance meets restricted-substance requirements.

Strip each conductor, insert into the three ports and tighten the 5/16 in hex screws to secure 12 AWG to 350 kcmil copper or aluminum wire; the step often missed is verifying every strand is fully seated before final torque.
Periodically inspect the rubber encapsulation for cracks and re-torque the hex screws if connections loosen; replace the connector if insulation shows degradation or exceeds the 194 °F temperature rating.
The 194 °F maximum operating temperature is the first constraint under continuous current, with the 600 V rating and UL 94 V-1 flammability class defining the electrical and fire-safety boundaries.
