ponycam BC605 1440p 64GB Body Camera

Wearable 1440p Body Camera

The ponycam BC605 is a compact wearable video capturing device that records up to 1440p resolution and captures 58MP still images through a 120° wide-angle lens. It includes 64GB of internal storage and uses a USB 2.0 interface for data transfer and charging. The IP67-rated housing is built for security guards, law enforcement personnel, and civilian users who need hands-free recording during long shifts.

Battery Life and Thermal Behaviour

A 3600mAh battery provides up to 17 hours of continuous recording on a single charge and recharges fully in about three hours. The default recording resolution is set to 1080p to extend runtime, with 1440p available when higher clarity is required. Loop recording automatically overwrites the oldest files when storage is full, and built-in encryption helps keep footage secure during extended use.

Upgrade From Basic Recorders

This model replaces simpler body cameras that lack loop recording, encryption, or IP67 waterproofing. The jump is worthwhile for users who need all-day battery life, secure file handling, and a rugged housing that withstands demanding environments. It is not suited for buyers who require removable storage media, live streaming capabilities, or wireless connectivity beyond the wired USB link.
