328-Piece Home Repair Kit

This Porter-Cable 328-piece tool kit supplies a broad range of hand tools for everyday household and automotive maintenance. It includes hex keys, metric sockets in 1/4 and 3/8 drive sizes, precision screwdrivers and a 40-piece bit set. The assortment targets homeowners, DIY enthusiasts and handymen who need one box for common repair tasks.

Sliding-Drawer Toolbox

The silver plastic case measures 16.3 in x 11.8 in x 6.3 in and weighs 13.33 pounds. A single pull-out drawer slides on a manual mechanism to give extra capacity over a standard flat box. Tools are pre-slotted in moulded trays; the drawer adds a second layer but can bind if overloaded or if debris gets into the rails.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify the 16.3 x 11.8 inch footprint fits your shelf, bench or vehicle storage area. Confirm that 1/4 and 3/8 drive metric sockets cover the fasteners you encounter most often. Buyers needing imperial sockets, larger drive sizes or specialised automotive tools will find those absent from this set.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 328-piece kit is complete after opening the toolbox?

Count the 12 1/4-inch metric sockets, 10 3/8-inch metric sockets, 9 hex keys, 4 precision screwdrivers and the 40-piece bit set against the included list; the total should reach 328 pieces.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The silver 16.3×11.8×6.3 in toolbox with one sliding drawer arrives fully stocked with the 328-piece set including sockets, hex keys, screwdrivers, bits, hammer, wrenches and level; no additional tools are required for the listed applications.

Which version of the RD105328 kit should I choose for general household and auto repairs?

Only one configuration exists — the 328-piece set in the silver drawer toolbox weighing 13.33 pounds — so no capacity or version choice is needed.
