Complete 4-Piece Magnetic Retrieval Kit

This Porter-Cable set combines four distinct magnetic tools for retrieving dropped metal parts in garages, workshops, automotive repair, and DIY projects. It includes a 31in telescoping stick, a 25in pen-style magnet with pocket clip, a 20in flexible bendable spring stick, and a 3.7in magnetic parts tray. The variety covers everyday pickup tasks and hard-to-reach recovery.

Sustained Retrieval Performance Across Tool Types

The 31in telescoping stick maintains a 15lb lift capacity for heavier tools and bolts during extended use, while the 25in pen magnet handles up to 1.5lb for screws and small fasteners. The 20in flexible spring stick bends into confined engine bays or deep toolboxes where rigid tools cannot reach. Together they provide consistent magnetic holding power across different load profiles without performance drop-off.

Stainless Steel Construction With Organised Storage

All tools feature stainless steel shafts with a corrosion-resistant finish and non-slip rubber grips for secure handling in oily or wet conditions. The 3.7in magnetic tray keeps recovered nuts, bolts, and screws contained at the workbench, preventing loss and maintaining a tidy workspace. Pocket clip on the pen magnet allows immediate access from a shirt or tool belt.

Questions about this item

Does the 15 lb telescoping stick or the 1.5 lb pen magnet generate any heat or noise during all-day use?

These are passive magnetic tools with no motor or electronics, so they produce zero heat and no audible noise regardless of how long they are used.

What else must I already own for the 31 in telescoping stick and 3.7 in tray to be useful?

Only the ferrous fasteners or small steel parts you intend to retrieve or organise; the magnets work on their own with no power source or additional equipment.

Will the 20 in flexible spring magnet stick work alongside my older non-magnetic pickup tools?

Yes, it complements mechanical grabbers by reaching into tight, curved spaces where rigid jaws cannot fit, letting you retrieve steel parts the older tools miss.
