Rechargeable battery powers XT and KS series terminals except models 7210 and 7212
The POSIFLEX RB2000 is a rechargeable battery built for XT and KS series point-of-sale terminals. It fits every model in those families except the KS7212 and KS7210, which use a different power solution. Retail and hospitality operators can deploy it as a direct replacement or spare unit.
The cell delivers cordless operation for mobile checkout, queue-busting and table-side service without a trailing cable. Recharge cycles restore full capacity between shifts, and the chemistry is chosen for stable output in constant-use environments. No active cooling is required, so the terminal stays silent during transactions.
The pack slots into the terminal’s dedicated battery bay with the same latch mechanism as the original unit, so no tools or adapters are needed. Its form factor matches the OEM footprint, keeping the device balance and VESA mounting options unchanged. Staff can hot-swap batteries during peak hours without powering down the terminal.

Power off the terminal, open the battery compartment, insert the RB2000, then secure the latch; the step often missed is fully seating the connector before closing the cover.
The RB2000 will eventually hold less charge; plan to replace it when runtime drops below your shift length, typically after several hundred charge cycles.
The battery’s capacity limit appears first; once depleted the terminal shuts down unless connected to mains power.
