Chain Coupling Sprocket for 1/2 in Pitch
The Power Drive C4016X1 is a 16-tooth chain coupling sprocket designed for ANSI 40 roller chain with a 1/2 in pitch. It features a 1-1/8 in round keyed bore with a 1/4 in keyway width and 1/8 in keyway depth. This steel component transmits rotary motion between two shafts in industrial power-transmission systems.
Fits 1/2 in Chain and 1-1/8 in Shafts
The sprocket mounts directly on a 1-1/8 in diameter shaft using the integral keyway, eliminating the need for a separate bushing. Its hub diameter measures 1 3/8 in and the outside diameter with chain is 3 in. The coupling accommodates up to 1 degree of angular misalignment, 0.005 in of parallel misalignment and 0.06 in of axial motion, reducing stress on connected equipment.
Replaces Worn 40-Series Sprockets
This sprocket serves as a direct replacement for worn or damaged 40-series chain coupling halves. The jump is worthwhile when an existing sprocket shows tooth wear, keyway damage or excessive backlash that degrades drive accuracy. It pairs with cover part number AL40 for enclosure. Buyers needing a different bore size, tooth count or chain pitch cannot use this model.
