Cable protector for single-channel runs
The POWER FIRST cable protector is a 5 ft length of black PVC with one channel measuring 3/4 in high by 3/4 in wide. It accepts cables up to 1/2 in diameter and lies flat at 3 in wide. The smooth texture allows easy placement on floors or ground surfaces.
Replaces loose cables or tape in pedestrian areas
Use this protector instead of loose cords or temporary tape when foot traffic crosses a single cable run. The 3/4 in height keeps the bump low while still covering the cable. It is not suited for vehicles, heavy equipment or multi-cable bundles that need more than one channel.
Limited to light-duty indoor
The PVC construction and unrated load capacity restrict this product to light pedestrian traffic. It does not meet ADA ramp requirements and carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects. No load rating or vehicle-crossing certification is provided.

Questions about this item
What height clearance does the 3/4 in high cable protector need to sit flat on the floor?
The protector stands 3/4 in tall, so allow at least that much vertical space above the cables for the lid to close properly.
How do you secure the 5 ft PVC length so it does not shift under foot traffic?
Clean the floor, lay the channel over the cables, then press the smooth PVC base firmly down; the weight of traffic holds it in place without adhesives.
When should the black PVC protector be replaced if the surface stays smooth?
Replace it when the 1/2 in channel height no longer covers the cable bundle or the material shows cracking from repeated loads.
