9 ft GFCI Line Cord for 15 A Circuits
This 9 ft line cord includes a built-in ground-fault circuit interrupter and a NEMA 5-15P plug rated for 125 V AC at 60 Hz. The 16 AWG SJTW jacket contains three conductors and terminates in a single IEC 320 receptacle. The enclosure carries a rainproof rating for outdoor or damp-location use. It supplies 15 A maximum current to connected equipment.
Replaces Damaged or Missing GFCI Whips
The cord replaces a worn factory whip on pressure washers, pumps or outdoor lighting that originally shipped with a short GFCI pigtail. The 9 ft length reaches wall receptacles without an extension cord, reducing trip hazards and voltage drop. The upgrade is worth it when the original cord insulation is cracked, the plug blades are bent or the GFCI test button no longer trips the device.
Rainproof Enclosure Holds Rating Under Continuous
The rainproof enclosure maintains its ingress protection while the cord carries the full 15 A load for extended periods. The 16 AWG conductors operate within their ampacity at 125 V, limiting temperature rise during sustained runs. The GFCI mechanism continues to monitor ground-fault current without nuisance tripping caused by thermal stress on the sensing coil.
