Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU with 16 GB GDDR6, 3230 MHz boost clock and PCIe 5.0 x16 interface
The PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX 9060 XT targets 1440p gamers who need 16GB of VRAM on a 128-bit bus. It runs on the AMD Radeon RX 9000 Series GPU with 2048 stream processors and a 3230 MHz boost clock. The card draws power through a single PCI Express 5.0 x16 slot and a 500W supply is recommended. Two fans keep the 2-slot ATX board cool inside standard cases.
Moving up from an 8GB model makes sense when textures push past that buffer at 1440p or when you enable higher ray-tracing settings. The 20 Gbps GDDR6 and 16GB frame buffer remove that bottleneck without changing the memory bus width. If your current GPU already holds 12GB or more, the jump only pays off when you also need the newer display outputs or the higher boost frequency.
The board measures 200 mm long and 39 mm thick without the bracket, growing to 220 mm by 40 mm with it. Two expansion slots are required and the 12 VHPWR or dual 8-pin connectors sit at the rear edge. HDMI 2.1b and two DisplayPort 2.1a ports handle 4K high-refresh displays. The only common snag is forgetting to plug both auxiliary power cables before the first boot.

The card measures 200 x 100 x 39 mm without the bracket and 220 x 120 x 40 mm with it, occupying two expansion slots. Ensure your chassis supports at least 220 mm GPU length and two-slot width.
Install into a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot; the card also works in PCIe 4.0 or 3.0 slots at reduced bandwidth. Connect the required 12VHPWR or 8-pin power cables from a 500 W or larger PSU — forgetting auxiliary power is the common mistake.
Reapply thermal paste every two to three years or if temperatures rise noticeably. The double-fan cooler is user-serviceable; remove the shroud, clean old paste, and apply a pea-sized dot of non-conductive compound.
