This PowerStar 60-914 is a replacement backup battery built for GE Simon XT and Simon XTi security panels. It uses advanced AGM technology to provide a 24 hour backup charge when AC power is unavailable. The unit is maintenance free and serves as a 100 percent OEM replacement for the original panel battery.

Fits GE Simon XT and XTi panels

Homeowners using GE or Interlogix Simon XT and XTi panels with LiveWatch alarm monitoring will find this battery a direct fit. It also works with wireless security systems that include video surveillance cameras. Buyers who need a battery for a different panel model or a UPS unit should look at another product.

Check panel model and wiring before ordering

Verify that your security panel is a Simon XT or Simon XTi before purchase. Confirm the existing battery connector matches the replacement and that the panel compartment can accept the new unit. Keep a second battery on hand if you want extended coverage during long power outages.

Questions about this item

What security panel must I already have for the 60-914 to fit?

The 60-914 is a direct replacement for GE Simon XT and Simon XTi panels, so one of those panels must be installed.

Will the 60-914 work with the original charger in my Simon XT?

Yes, it is a 100% OEM replacement designed to charge from the panel's existing charging circuit.

How do I confirm the 60-914 is holding a full 24-hour backup charge after install?

Trigger a mains-fail test on the panel; the system should report normal battery status and sustain operation for the rated 24-hour period.
