Rectangular 12V 9.0Ah SLA battery, black plastic case, T1/T2 terminals

PowerStar

PowerStar RBC2 12V 9.0Ah SLA Battery

SKU CH-RYQE-EZ48Z

12 V 9.0 Ah AGM battery replaces 7.5 Ah units with higher capacity and maintenance-free operation

  • 12 V 9.0 Ah capacity exceeds 7.5 Ah predecessors
  • Advanced AGM technology delivers maintenance-free sealed operation
  • 100 % OEM-compatible replacement for UPS and backup units
  • Three-year warranty covers UPS and backup applications
  • Compact 5.94 × 2.56 × 3.66 in footprint fits existing enclosures

Direct OEM Replacement

This 12 V 9.0 Ah sealed lead-acid battery replaces the RBC2 pack in compatible UPS and backup devices. It fits the same footprint as earlier 7 Ah or 7.5 Ah units while delivering higher capacity. Buyers who need a different voltage or form factor should look elsewhere.

Terminal Flexibility

The T1/T2 terminal design accepts both common connector styles without adapters. Absorbent Glass Mat construction keeps the electrolyte immobilised so the battery can be mounted in any orientation and requires no watering. Users who require screw-terminal or proprietary lug connections will need a different model.

Capacity Upgrade Path

Advanced AGM chemistry raises usable capacity from 7.5 Ah to 9.0 Ah in the identical 5.94 × 2.56 × 3.66 inch case. The jump is worthwhile when longer runtime during outages matters more than the modest price premium. Installations that demand hot-swappable modules or lithium chemistry are not served by this unit.

Questions about this item

What does the T1/T2 terminal type mean for compatibility with my UPS?

The T1/T2 terminals accept standard spade connectors used on most UPS units, so the battery drops in without adapter cables.

Will the 5.94 × 2.56 × 3.66 inch case fit my existing battery tray?

Measure your tray against those dimensions; the case is designed as a direct dimensional replacement for common 7 Ah and 7.5 Ah packs.

Do I need to add acid or charge the battery before first use?

No — the AGM cells are sealed and factory-charged, so you simply connect the terminals observing correct polarity.
