SKU CH-43H5-M9B0D

Kit of eight 12V 9Ah AGM batteries replaces RBC27 packs in compatible APC UPS units

  • Advanced AGM technology for reliable power delivery
  • 12 V 9 Ah capacity per unit improves runtime over 7.5 Ah cells
  • Kit includes eight batteries for complete UPS replacement
  • Maintenance-free sealed design requires no fluid checks
  • Compatible with APC RBC27, SU2200, SU3000 and SU48RMXLBP models

Kit Contents

This PowerStar RBC27 kit supplies eight 12-volt 9AH sealed lead-acid batteries built with advanced AGM technology. The pack is designed as a direct OEM replacement for compatible APC UPS units and arrives ready for installation.

Thermals and Power

AGM construction keeps the cells sealed and maintenance free, so no electrolyte checks or top-ups are required during normal float service. Internal resistance remains low, allowing the bank to accept charge efficiently and deliver steady runtime without excess heat buildup.

Upgrade Scope

The kit replaces the original 7AH or 7.5AH cells found in models such as the SU2200RMXL3U, SU3000RMXL3U and SU48RMXLBP3U, raising capacity to 9AH per block. Existing cabling and hardware are reused, so the jump is worthwhile when longer backup time is needed and the UPS chassis remains serviceable.

Questions about this item

How do I install the eight 12 V 9 Ah cells into my SU2200RMXL3U and what step is often missed?

Place each battery into the UPS tray, then reconnect the original wiring harness exactly as it was removed; the step most people miss is torquing every terminal bolt to the same tightness so no single connection carries extra current.

What maintenance or replacement will this RBC27 kit need after a few years?

The sealed AGM cells are maintenance-free, but after the expected 4-7 year life you will need to replace all eight batteries at once to keep the string balanced.

What limit appears first when the SU3000RMXLi3U runs on this kit under continuous load?

Runtime ends when the 9 Ah capacity of each 12 V cell is depleted by the connected equipment.
