Compatible 12 V cartridge for APC BE650R-CN

This two-pack of PowerWarehouse lead-acid cartridges is built as a direct replacement for the APC Back-UPS BE650R-CN. Each unit is rated at 12 volts and carries the manufacturer reference 1729. The set restores runtime for home-office or small-business UPS units that have reached the end of their original battery life.

Sealed design runs silently with minimal heat

Valve-regulated construction keeps the cells sealed, so normal operation produces no audible fan noise and only negligible warmth. Power draw during float charging is very low, leaving the UPS efficiency essentially unchanged. The pack is rated for 100 percent compatibility with the 650 VA host unit, ensuring stable voltage delivery without extra thermal load.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 12 V cartridge #17 into my BE650R-CN UPS, and what step do people often miss?

Open the battery door, unplug the old pack, insert the new cartridge #17, and reconnect the same terminals; the step most forget is tightening both connectors firmly so the UPS recognises the replacement immediately.

When will the 12 V lead-acid cells in cartridge #17 need replacing, and what indicates it?

Expect three to five years of service; the UPS will sound a replace-battery alarm and runtime will drop noticeably when the cells can no longer hold a full charge.
