Questions about this item

How do I install the 2XRBC18SLA182 cartridge into my APC PS250I UPS, and what step is often missed?

Power off and unplug the UPS, open the battery door, disconnect the old cartridge, insert the new 2XRBC18SLA182 cartridge firmly until it clicks, then close the door and power on. The step often missed is ensuring the connector is fully seated before closing the door.

What maintenance will the 6V lead-acid batteries in this 2-pack need over their service life?

These sealed lead-acid batteries are maintenance-free; no watering is required. Plan to replace the pair every three to five years or when the UPS reports a battery fault, as capacity declines with age and charge cycles.
