Compatible 12 V cartridge for APC SU1000RM2U

This two-pack of 12 V lead-acid cartridges is built to match the original specifications of the APC SU1000RM2U uninterruptible power supply. Each unit is supplied new and ready for immediate installation in compatible rack-mount UPS systems.

Replaces worn RBC23 modules when runtime drops

Swapping both cartridges restores full backup capacity for the SU1000RM2U when the existing cells no longer hold charge. The upgrade is worthwhile once the UPS reports reduced runtime or fails self-test, but it does not add capacity beyond the original design.

Questions about this item

Will the two 12V cartridges in this pack fit the APC SU1000RM2U without extra brackets?

Yes — the pack contains two 12V cartridges built to match cartridge #23, which is the direct replacement for the APC SU1000RM2U and slides into the existing battery compartment.

What is the installation step people often miss when swapping these cartridges?

After inserting both cartridges, reconnect the internal battery cable firmly and then press the UPS self-test button so the unit recognises the new batteries.
