Questions about this item

How do I install the 12 V cartridge #3 into my APC BK650M UPS without reversing the terminals?

Power off the UPS, unplug it, open the battery door, pull out the old cartridge, insert the new 12 V cartridge #3 with the red lead to the positive post and black to negative, close the door, then plug in and switch on.

When should I expect to replace the 2-pack of 12 V 36 W lead-acid cartridges in my BK650M?

Typical service life is 3 to 5 years; replace sooner if the UPS shows a replace-battery alert, runtime drops below 650 VA load requirements, or the 1-year warranty period ends.
