The PPC EX59XLWS Plus is a compression connector built for series 59 coaxial cable. It provides a 75 Ohms impedance path from 0 MHz to 3 GHz with a minimum return loss of -30 dB and insertion loss below .10 dB across the same range. Installers working on outdoor broadband or CCTV runs use it to maintain signal integrity in exposed locations.

Integrated Port Seal and Extended Body

The connector ships with a factory-fitted weather boot that seals the port against moisture ingress. An extended body design adds mechanical support for the cable jacket while the universal compression mechanism delivers at least 45 lbs of cable retention. Shielding effectiveness is enhanced by 25 dB in dynamic conditions and the assembly meets all SCTE specifications for drop-cable hardware.

Compression Install with Temperature Limits

Termination requires a standard compression tool sized for series 59 cable; no soldering or crimping is needed. The connector is rated for continuous operation from -40 °F to 140 °F (-40 °C to 60 °C) and handles up to 90 V AC at 60 Hz. Over-compression can damage the internal dielectric, so the tool must be stopped at the manufacturer's specified stroke.
