Universal fit for Series 6 drop cables

These PPC EX6XLPLUS compression connectors suit cable and satellite system installers who need a single part that works on standard, tri-shield and quad-shield Series 6 drop cables. The 50-piece factory-sealed pack provides enough connectors for multi-room runs or contractor stock.

Sustained RF shielding and moisture resistance

True 360 deg. compression creates a continuous seal around the conductor, maintaining RF shielding performance over long cable runs. The quad-sealed system blocks moisture migration, so signal integrity holds up in outdoor and damp indoor installations.

Simple compression installation

The patented universal body accepts 60% braid, tri-shield and quad-shield cables without swapping connector types, reducing craft errors during termination. Installers need only a standard Series 6 compression tool; no special dies or adapters are required.

Questions about this item

Do the EX6XLPLUS connectors run hot or draw extra power when left on a live coax line all day?

These are passive compression fittings with no electronics, so they generate no heat and consume no power once installed on the cable.

What tool must I already own to attach the EX6XLPLUS connectors to RG6 quad-shield cable?

A standard compression crimp tool sized for Series 6 connectors is required to achieve the 360-degree compression the EX6XLPLUS design needs.

Will the EX6XLPLUS fit the older RG6 quad cable I already have in the walls?

Yes — the universal body is made for all Series 6 drop cables, including 60% braid, tri-shield and quad-shield types.
