Game Overview

Evergate is a downloadable PC puzzle game published by PQube Limited and developed by Stone Lantern Games LLC. Players guide the lost soul Ki through the afterlife using the Soulflame mechanic to solve environmental challenges. The game is delivered as a Steam activation code and requires a third-party Steam account for access. Menu languages include English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish - Spain, and Traditional Chinese.

Upgrade Context

This title suits players moving from simpler platformers toward deeper puzzle-platform experiences with a narrative focus. The jump is worth it when you want a mechanic built around time-slowing precision aiming and crystal-based energy chains across 85 stages. It does not fit buyers seeking multiplayer modes, open-world exploration, or high-fidelity 3D graphics pipelines.

Capacity and Headroom

The campaign spans 85 stages where collecting Essences unlocks artefacts that boost Ki's speed, jump height, and abilities. Difficulty scales as new crystal combinations and environmental hazards appear, demanding creative routing. Players who exhaust the main content may find limited replay value beyond mastery runs, as the game lacks procedural generation, level editors, or post-launch expansions.
