Metallic Washable Watercolors 8 Colors

Prang Metallic Washable Watercolors 80516 are semi-moist watercolor pans designed for classroom and home art projects. The set includes eight assorted metallic colors in a durable case with built-in mixing areas and refillable pans. A natural hair size 6 brush is provided for immediate use. The washable formula removes easily from skin and most clothing.

Quick-Dry Washable Formula

The watercolors dry quickly to support a wide range of craft applications including posters, construction paper and plaster. Washable pigments clean off skin and most fabrics without staining, reducing cleanup concerns during group activities. Semi-moist pans activate instantly with water for smooth laydown. No wax fillers are used in the formulation.

Eight Metallic Colors No Wax Fillers

Assorted metallic shades deliver vivid color without wax fillers for consistent coverage on paper and craft surfaces. The palette suits artists who want shimmering effects in a washable format. Buyers needing traditional transparent watercolors or larger individual pans will find this set does not match those requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the 80516 watercolor tray and what step do people often miss?

Open the durable case, wet the included size 6 brush, and activate each semi-moist pan with water; the step many skip is pre-wetting all eight metallic pans before painting so the washable formula flows evenly.

What part of the 80516 set will need replacing first with regular classroom use?

The semi-moist watercolor pans are refillable, so when a metallic color runs low you simply refill that pan rather than buying a new tray; the natural hair #9 brush may also wear out and can be swapped for any standard watercolor brush.

What limit appears first when the 80516 paints are used continuously for a long project?

The semi-moist pans dry out during extended sessions, so you must re-wet them to keep the metallic colors flowing; the washable formula dries quickly on paper, which speeds layering but means the palette needs frequent moisture to stay workable.
