Processor and purpose

This gaming desktop pairs a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X running at 3.7 GHz with 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RGB memory. It targets players and creators who want solid 1080p or 1440p performance without configuring individual components. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed on the boot drive.

Build and connectivity

The DIYPC DIY-BG01 mid-tower case uses a tempered glass side panel and includes several pre-installed fans for airflow. Front-panel USB 3.0 ports give quick access to peripherals while the rear provides Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11ac wireless. An EVGA 750W Bronze power supply with custom sleeving feeds the ASRock B450 motherboard and Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card with 8 GB GDDR6.

Compatibility checks

Verify that your monitor has an HDMI input to match the graphics card output. The 256 GB NVMe M.2 SSD uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot on the B450 board; confirm your preferred boot drive fits this interface if you plan to replace it. The AM4 socket and DDR4 slots limit future processor upgrades to the same platform generation.
