Ryzen 5 5600X gaming desktop

The PRC BlueMagic Special Edition is a complete gaming desktop built around a six-core Ryzen 5 5600X processor running at 3.7 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RGB memory, a Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR6, and a 2 TB NVMe M.2 SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the drive.

Check motherboard and power connections

Verify that your existing display uses HDMI or DisplayPort inputs to match the graphics card outputs. The system includes a 750 W power supply, so confirm that your mains circuit can support the load. The motherboard is an AMD B450 ATX board using the AM4 socket, so any future CPU upgrade must stay within that platform.

Thermals and acoustics under load

The CPU is cooled by the bundled AMD Wraith Stealth cooler, which keeps temperatures in check during typical gaming sessions. The DIYPC mid-tower case includes several pre-installed fans to move air across the Radeon RX 6600 XT and other components. Power draw at the wall will vary with workload but is capped by the 750 W supply rating.

Questions about this item

Does the BlueMagic system ship with the Wraith Stealth cooler and Windows 11 Pro already installed, or must I buy them separately?

The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X boxed processor includes the Wraith Stealth cooler, and Windows 11 Pro is pre-loaded on the 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD so nothing extra is required.

Should I pick the 16 GB or 32 GB DDR4-3200 RGB RAM option for this build?

This unit comes with 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RGB memory installed across the DIMM 288-pin slots, giving you the larger capacity straight away.

What does the 3.7 GHz base clock on the Ryzen 5 5600X mean for actual gaming frame rates?

The 3.7 GHz base speed on the 6-core processor provides strong single-thread performance that keeps the Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB GDDR6 fed in modern titles at 1080p and 1440p.
