Built for High-Thread Workloads and 1080p Gaming

This desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X at 3.4 GHz with a Radeon RX 6600 XT 8 GB GDDR6 card. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4-3200 memory feed the processor, while a 256 GB NVMe drive holds the Windows 11 Pro install and a 1 TB hard drive stores bulk files. A 700 W supply powers the Cooler Master liquid loop and all components.

Suits Creators Who Also Game.

The 16-core CPU excels at rendering, compilation and streaming while the RX 6600 XT delivers high frame rates at 1080p. Buyers who need a second graphics card, more than 16 GB of RAM or a larger primary SSD should look at a different configuration. The single GPU and fixed memory capacity set the practical ceiling.

The 16-Core Ryzen 9 5950X Decides the Tier

Eightteen threads at 3.4 GHz base frequency define the system's multi-tasking headroom. If your workload leans heavily on single-thread speed or you prefer a newer socket platform, this processor choice makes the build a mismatch. Match the CPU to the task before ordering.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L 240 mm radiator need inside the case?

The 240 mm radiator occupies a dual-fan mounting area; allow space for two 120 mm fans plus the radiator thickness and tubing bend radius.

What is the correct order for seating the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X into the ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WIFI) motherboard?

Lift the socket lever, align the gold triangle on the processor with the socket corner, place the chip gently without force, lower the lever, then attach the pre-applied thermal paste side of the water block before tightening the mounting screws in a cross pattern.

When should the 700 W power supply be replaced in this build?

Plan to swap the 700 W unit after five to seven years of heavy gaming loads, or sooner if you hear coil whine, experience random shutdowns under load, or upgrade to a graphics card that draws significantly more power than the Radeon RX 6600 XT.
