MidnightOak Gaming Desktop

The PRC MidnightOak is a new gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700K 12-core processor with a base clock of 3.6 GHz and a max turbo of 5.0 GHz. It pairs the CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB GDDR6X graphics card, 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory, and dual storage consisting of a 1 TB NVMe SSD plus a 4 TB SSD. A 360 mm ARGB liquid cooler and a 750 W 80+ Gold modular power supply complete the core hardware.

Suited for high-refresh 1440p play

This system suits players who want strong 1440p performance in current titles without stepping up to a flagship GPU tier. The 12-core CPU and 16 GB of RAM handle modern game engines and background tasks comfortably. Buyers who need more than 16 GB of memory for heavy content creation or who want a larger primary NVMe drive for an extensive game library should look at other configurations.

12 GB GDDR6X frame buffer

The RTX 4070’s 12 GB of GDDR6X video memory is the specification that determines whether this desktop fits a build plan. It sets the ceiling for texture quality and resolution scaling in demanding scenes. If a workflow or target resolution requires a larger frame buffer, this model will not meet that requirement.
