ShadowGlass Special Edition Gaming PC

The PRC ShadowGlass Special Edition is a pre-built gaming desktop aimed at enthusiasts who want a complete 4K-ready system without assembling parts themselves. It arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and a panoramic tempered-glass mid-tower chassis.

RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X graphics card

The single component that defines this build is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 with 16GB GDDR6X memory. It drives 4K ultra settings in current AAA titles and supports DLSS 3.0 frame generation for higher frame rates. Buyers who need more VRAM for professional 3D rendering or compute workloads should look elsewhere.

32GB DDR5-6000 memory and 2TB NVMe Gen4 storage

The 32GB DDR5 kit handles modern games, streaming and multitasking with comfortable headroom. The 2TB NVMe Gen4 SSD provides fast load times for a large library, though creators working with massive raw video archives will eventually need additional drives.

Questions about this item

How does the Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz base clock translate to actual gaming frame rates when paired with the RTX 4080?

The 8-core processor boosts to 5.4 GHz, feeding the RTX 4080 16 GB GDDR6X fast enough for smooth 4K ultra gaming with DLSS 3.0 in titles such as Cyberpunk 2077.

What PCIe generation does the RTX 4080 use and does the platform saturate it?

The RTX 4080 connects via PCIe 4.0 x16 on the AM5 platform; the 7700X and DDR5-6000 memory keep the bus fed so the GPU runs at full bandwidth.

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler and RTX 4080 fit in the ShadowGlass mid-tower without clearance issues?

The ShadowGlass panoramic tempered-glass chassis is built around a 360 mm AIO and full-length graphics cards, so the factory-installed cooler and RTX 4080 mount without modification.
