Complete system for 1080p gaming

This PRC desktop arrives assembled with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X eight-core processor running at 3.8 GHz, 32 GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6. A 1 TB NVMe solid-state drive holds the operating system and games, while the ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 case adds tempered-glass panels and RGB lighting. Liquid cooling keeps the unlocked CPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions.

Ideal for high-refresh 1080p play, not 4K

The eight-core CPU and 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM suit gamers who stream or run background tasks while playing at 1080p with high frame rates. The 8 GB graphics frame buffer and single 1 TB NVMe drive limit buyers who want 1440p ultra settings, 4K resolution or a multi-drive storage array without adding parts after purchase.

8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer defines the resolution

The Radeon RX 6600 XT ships with 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory, which comfortably handles modern titles at 1080p ultra but becomes a bottleneck at higher resolutions or with heavy texture packs. Buyers targeting 1440p or 4K should consider a graphics card with a larger frame buffer.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Thermaltake Floe Riing 360 RGB liquid cooler is keeping the Ryzen 7 5800X at safe temperatures?

Enter the BIOS on first boot and check the CPU temperature reading; it should sit well below the maximum operating limit while the 360 mm radiator fans spin.

Which components come pre-installed in the ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 case and what must I provide?

The Ryzen 7 5800X, 32 GB DDR4-3200 memory, 1 TB NVMe M.2 SSD, Radeon RX 6600 XT, 700 W power supply, WiFi 5 motherboard and Windows 10 Pro are all fitted; only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are needed.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR4-3200 configuration or a different capacity for 1080p and 1440p gaming?

The 32 GB DDR4-3200 kit matches the X570 platform and leaves headroom for modern titles at both 1080p and 1440p without requiring an immediate upgrade.
