Universal projector mount for lightweight installs

The Premier Mounts PBC-UMW is a white ceiling mount rated for projectors up to 25 lbs. Its four double-jointed arms adjust to reach irregular mounting points. A 1.5 inch NPT coupler connects the mount to standard threaded pipe. Integrated cable routing keeps wiring tidy inside the pipe run.

Replaces fixed brackets when ceiling joists do not

Fixed mounts force the projector to sit directly under a single anchor point. The double-jointed arms on this model shift the chassis laterally so the lens can centre on the screen even when structure is offset. The jump is worth it whenever the mounting surface is uneven or the projector must clear obstructions such as beams or ductwork.

Holds position through continuous tilt

Tilt and roll movement exceeds 20 degrees in any direction while full 360 degree yaw lets the image square up without loosening hardware. The patent-pending arm geometry locks at the chosen angle so vibration from HVAC or foot traffic does not creep the aim point. OSHPD approval confirms the assembly meets seismic anchorage requirements for sustained overhead loads.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.5 inch NPT coupler thread directly onto standard 1.5 inch NPT pipe?

Yes, the mount mates with 1-1/2 inch NPT threaded pipe for a secure ceiling connection.

How much tilt and roll adjustment does the double-jointed arm design provide?

The exclusive double-jointed legs allow tilt and roll adjustment greater than 20 degrees.

Will the integrated cable routing port stay clear if I run cables through 1.5 inch NPT pipe?

The integrated cable routing port aligns with 1.5 inch NPT pipe so cables run neatly inside.
